Benet Too Much For Maine West 35-13 Final Score Class 7A IHSA Playoffs Round 1

Maine West made it first appearance in the IHSA playoffs since 2002, and in the first round they were given Benet Academy. Benet Academy was just too much, Redwing defense sniffed out the offense and made quick adjustments. Redwing QB Gilliespie had a combined 4 TDS against Maine West, along with defense that was putting pressure on the QB.

Benet Academy could be a real problem to teams in the 7A Bracket.
