CCIW is a D3 power conference and features a lot of Illinois players playing in all of its 9 member schools of the conference. Now I know at least one person that has gone to all 9 these schools and I have heard nothing but good things. These 9 schools feature great football programs but also feature great education for higher learning. Most of these CCIW football players of gone on to receive a degree from their school (MOST BEING TEACHERS). All 9 of these schools feature a tight knit community, family atmosphere that is key to D3 Football.
North Central Cardinals Founded in 1861 – Located in Naperville, Illinois
Head Coach Jeff Thorne
North Central is a power program in the CCIW, and has won 12 CCIW Championships in football. Made 9 Division 3 Championship appearances and has gotten a group of great players from the land of Lincoln for this past decade.

Elmhurst College Bluejays Founded in 1871- Located in Elmhurst, Illinois
Head Coach Ron Planz
Elmhurst College has had a strong history in getting the best out of its players for academics and athletics. Now to be fair I was ball boy for the Elmhurst Bluejay football team but I can say that the Bluejay program is a one of the most underrated programs in the Midwest.

Wheaton College Thunder Founded in 1860- Located in Wheaton, Illinois

Wheaton College believes in two things winning and winning with character on and off the field. Wheaton College has high academic standards and demands that its players show high level of character. Wheaton College. 2014 and 2015 Wheaton won CCIW Titles back to back in football. Wheaton College is one of the most successful football programs in the CCIW Conference

Carthage College Red Men Founded in 1847- Located in Kenosha, Wisconsin
Head Coach Mike Yeager
Carthage Football has 9 CCIW Championship in its history of it program. Carthage has huge history in recruiting Illinois kids especially from the Chicagoland metro area. Carthage Football also has a huge group of alumni that are now high school coaches in the Illinois area. One of the best campuses in the CCIW especially with the school right on the shoreline of Lake Michigan.

North Park University Vikings Founded in 1891- Located in Chicago, Illinois
Head Coach Michael Conway
North Park is located in the neighborhood of Andersonville in Chicago . North Park is the only school in the CCIW Conference that is located in Chicago. This program is on verge of getting bigger with a couple more big recruiting classes and brand new energy in its veins.
Millikin University Big Blue Founded in 1901- Located in Decatur, Illinois
Head Coach Dan Gritti
Millikin has 11 CCIW football titles in its history in the conference. Millikin takes pride in itself for having student-athletes and prides itself for have 72 athletes earn Academic All-America award.

Illinois Wesleyan Titans Founded in 1850- Located in Bloomington, Illinois
Head Coach Norman Eash
The Titans have 14 CCIW Titles in the conference for football and have one of the top legacies in CCIW Conference. Illinois Wesleyan has had a strong history of getting overlooked players in Illinois to come play for their program

Augustana College Vikings Founded in 1860- Located in Rock Island, IL
Head Coach Steve Bell
Augstana Vikings have one of the best histories in CCIW Football Conference. Featuring Reade Dynasty with 4 consecutive D3 Titles in the 80’s and home to NFL great Ken Anderson. Augastana is one of the top tier teams in the CCIW for football and has a history of recruiting players out of the Chicagoland area.

Carroll University Pioneers Founded in 1846- Located in Waukesha, Wisconsin
Head Coach Mark Krzykowski
Carroll is back in the CCIW after leaving in 1992 and now features dynamic defense and one of the top young head coaches in the CCIW. Carroll football program has gone back since the 1890s
