This game can go two ways today, and I know people are writing off Wilmington. This game is what makes Illinois High School Football so special, in a way that no other big school game can compete with. Two small school football programs playing for a chance to make it to the IHSA Semi-finals. Two teams that show the diversity of this game, and show what makes football the best game in this country. Wilmington a team with a hard scrabble past, that has won the IHSA Title two years ago. IC a team with talented players, and one of the best coaching staffs in Illinois that preach teamwork as much at Wilmington does. So for all you big school fans I challenge you to come by and watch this game today at 5pm.
