Finally the football gods of the IHSA have granted us all with a great game that people from larger schools will not understand. In the corner wearing the purple and black trunks you have the scrappy, tough as nails fighter Willmington. In the other corner rocking the flashy trunks with fast hands and even faster footwork you have IC.

Been waiting and pondering about this game since late summer after seeing IC in summer training, thinking about one team that could stop IC. Since coaching against Wilmington, I know how good Wilmington can be and how deceiving they can be on film. This has all the makings of being the small school game of the year in the state of Illinois.
