Andrew Kolich, how was your 2019 season?
My season was a different experience coming in as a freshman and starting on the sophomore team. However, I learned a lot as it was a great experience to start my first season of high school football.
How has your offseason been so far?
During my offseason I have been focusing on working out and throwing, so I can be prepared for when the season officially starts.
What does football mean to you?
Football means a lot to me, as I have been playing the sport since I was 4 years old. What I love most is the bonds you make with teammates and the family you form on and off the field.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
During the off season, my focus has been on improving my arm strength and accuracy. My goal is to improve all areas to stay on top of my game.
What should college coaches know about you?
College coaches should know I am dedicated, a hard-worker, and have a passion for sports. Additionally, I have great leadership skills, and strive to build relationships with my coaches and teammates.
What do you like about playing QB?
As a QB, I work well under pressure. I strive for the opportunity to control what is happening on the field and the pressure on you to perform makes me excel as the QB.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
My strongest trait on the field is my heart and leadership skills. I never quit and I motivate my teammates to do the same. Also, my ability to extend plays when the pocket collapses and keep the ball alive.
What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season?
My goal is to be the best leader and teammate on the field. My ultimate goal is to keep reflecting and building on my high school career to improve all aspects of my game and improve more each year.
