Coach Big Pete's Sunday Conclusion For Week 7 IHSA Football 2021 Season - Highlights & Awards

Week 7 is in the books and things in IHSA Football Land are coming back to normal. Games that should have been upsets were upsets, and games that were blowouts were blowouts. Finally there is balance back in the IHSA football schedule books. Classes 1A-3A cleared a lot of minds on who are the contenders and who are the pretenders. Paxton-Buckley-Loda made a name in beating a undefeated Monticello on Friday night. Hinsdale Central beats a undefeated York in a hard fought game along with Joliet Catholic having to battle for a win over Brother Rice. DU-PEC shows who the big dog is the NUIC by beating a beast of team in Lena-Winslow. Wheaton North, Buffalo Grove, Naperville North, and Lockport get close wins on Friday night. Oh, and we still should be talking more about Rochelle and Iroquois West football as well with their huge wins as well. IHSA Football players make sure I have your game film - send VIA DM on Twitter or email coachbigpetefp@gmail.com. Quick Reminder make sure every Friday night after the game I get your stats (I'm looking for the IHSA Player of the Night). Please Coaches and Players make sure that I have your game film from that week so I can send it out. This Wednesday Deep Dish Football IHSA Poll Rankings Week 8 version come out...
