The immortal Loyola Academy drops their first loss proving to be mortal to a well deserving Lockport team. But you got 2A Powerhouse St. Teresa losing to Nashville on a field goal that shocked everyone. Rochester losses to SHG in a game for the ages and Ken Leonard comes out on top of the Leonard Bowl. Wheaton North battles Brother Rice and comes out with the win that left people in awe. Byron comes back in the 4th Quarter to get the big Class 3A Semifinal win. Lena-Winslow, Wilmington, Kankakee, Cary-Grove, Joliet Catholic do their thing and capture the win. Right now the undefeated teams entering the IHSA State finals are Tolono Unity, Wilmington, Kankakee, ICCP, Cary-Grove, Joliet Catholic.
