Ty Lott how was your junior season?
I feel like I had a very good junior season. From start to end there some major changes that I made to myself and to my mechanics, overall, we made to our goal that we had from the start of the season, but we ended come short. But overall, I feel I had a great season
What schools have you talked to so far?
So far, I’ve talked with South Dakota, Western Illinois, NIU, Illinois State, and CMU. With most of them just being small talk. But for South Dakota I got officially invited to a prospect day and got invited to Illinois State’s spring football game. And also, CMU (Central Michigan).
What should college coaches know about you?
That I am a very hardworking person, I am a good leader. I’m able to adapt to the game and situations in the game. I can throw the ball deep, but I am also mobile and able to throw on the run. One my biggest attributes is being able to stay calm in tough situations. I am also a very humble and coachable player, I’m always ready to learn something new, and willing to listen to and see what I do wrong and fix it. I am also able to play the game at a fast pace, and understand the situations I’m in.
What do you like about playing QB?
I like the feeling of that I am in control of the game. That I have my all my teammates backing me up and putting all they’re trust in me to lead the team. I like the feeling of being in the backfield and getting see the whole field and all of the players, and being able to recognize what coverage the defense is in. I just like the overall feeling and responsibilities that come with being the quarterback, I am like the captain for the offense, and the team.
What motivates a Ty Lott?
I feel like what motivates me is that there is always room very improvement or to perfect something. Like even after having a good game, I will look back at film, and see things that I may have could done better. Also, just all the trust that my teammates put into me and my coaches, I feel as if when I go out and play. I’m not just playing for me; I’m playing for something way bigger.
