Tyler Hendricker DE/TE/ATH Peotone Class of 2022 6'4 230

Tyler Hendricker how was your 2019 season? It was great, as a sophomore my game 2 or the regular season, I was starting varsity defense end, I was able to learn from upperclassmen and keep studying film and improving my game. I lead the team in sacks while playing one less game then everyone else. Having great upperclassmen really helped me develop as a player. What should college coaches know about you? I will strive to be the hardest worker on the team! I have put on 30lbs. of muscle since the end of last season, been getting faster and stronger every day, and will continue to keep working. I want to be known as the player on the field whose motor never stops and never gives up on a play! What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I have been working on refining me technique of being a defensive end and improving my route running and catching as I also play tight end on offense. What does football mean to you? It means everything to me, it has always been my dream to play football at the highest level possible! I love the comradely of your teams and how you need the whole army of 11 to win. Playing with some of the same guys for over 10 years now and we all have a bond that cannot be broken and you can’t get from any other sport! What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season? As a team I would love to get to 8 wins and advance far in the state playoffs. Earn the the title of captain. Individually I am striving to be first team all state and double my sack total from last year and lead the team in sacks. And I want to be the the guy that other teams have to game plan for!
