Carson Eggebraten Class of 2022 LB St. Viator 6'0 205
HUDL
Carson Eggebraten how was your 2019 season? It was a little bit of a learning experience because I made the jump from freshman football to starting on varsity, but overall it was a successful year. I led my team in tackles and as a team played better than our 4-5 record showed.
What schools have you talked to so far? I have exchanged communication with Purdue, Syracuse, Yale, Princeton, and St. Thomas and there was preliminary interest from Northwestern. I have also received interest emails from Duke, NIU, Ohio, Columbia, and Liberty. What would you like college coaches to know about you? I would like coaches to know that I am a hardworking, coachable kid who plays hard and fast downhill with a team first mentality. Also I have a solid work ethic that shows both on the field and in the classroom and I love the game!
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the field?
I’m a strong, physical player who plays sideline to sideline that aggressively fills holes and accelerates through tackles
What do you like about playing linebacker? The position let’s me use my football IQ and toughness to come up and deliver a blow on the ball carrier, rush the quarterback, and drop back in coverage to make a play.
