Sean Allison Hinsdale Central Class of 2022 LB/DB 5'11 190

Sean Allison how was your 2019 season? It was great, I was able to play both safety and outside backer. I played safety on the soph level for the first four games and started on varsity for the last 6 games playing a outside backer/rover type position. I recorded 2 interceptions on the sophomore level and was able to learn a lot from the seniors on varsity. I became a lot smarter as a football player learning from guys like Owen Goss and Mike Brescia. I was able to learn the defense better and was able to perform at a higher level, as I was making the calls for the defense on varsity. What does football mean to you? Football means everything to me. I love repeatedly hitting people to where they breakdown mentally. It’s a sport where toughness is a huge factor and whoever can get up after getting hit play after play wins. The team aspect of football is extremely important to me, if each player isn’t ALL IN then your not gonna accomplish your goals. Working out with the team and bonding outside of football brings that team chemistry which leads to winning games. Football has brought me many friendships and great mentors. One of those mentors being my dad who introduced me to football. I grew up with football around as my dad played LB at Northern Michigan and I’ve loved it ever since. What should college coaches know about you? That I’m a team first player and that I’m one of the smartest players on the field at all times. I can read a defense very well and am able to control and understand a defense because I can play various roles on a defense. I have a wrestling background and I love to hit people and will never back down when there is adversity. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I’ve been focusing on my speed and explosion this off-season working with The EFT trainers. I’ve also been working on my feet and hips as I play a rover type position where I am both in coverage and in the run game. This year I will be playing a lot faster and my game will show. What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season? My goals for this upcoming season are to be All Conference and to win a conference championship as a team. I also want to force more turnovers personally and as a defense. Hopefully after the season I will have some offers on the table as well.
