Marcell Stewart Bolingbrook WR Class of 2021 5'10 175
Marcell Stewart how was your 2019 season? For me it was a real eye opener, because I had just switched over from running back to wide receiver due to not having enough playing time my sophomore year on JV. And it made me realize that football will make you work as hard as you want to in order to get where you want to go and I worked as hard as I could and try to get as much playing time as I could especially seeing that was a junior on varsity and I already had somebody ahead of me. What should college coaches know about you? Coaches should know that I work hard, and that my skills go beyond my physical attributes. I have natural hands and even though I'm 5'10" I play every snap with the physicality of a 6'2 WR , aggressive, explosive, and nonstop. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strongest trait would have to be my route running because I could run a slant and make you think I'm running a go, and I've been told by Coach Ivlow that my hitches are the best. What does football mean to you? Football to me is not just a game, it's a lifestyle that only very few can live through and I'm blessed to be able to not only live through it, but surely thrive in it! It's all I can do to provide for my family in the future. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? On the off-season I'm perfecting every part of my abilities on the field, specifically my hands and route- running. I love to work on my strength and footwork!
