Trenton Zeeb how does it feel to get the big first round win? It feels amazing. After having a down season last year and missing the playoffs it left a bad taste in our mouth. Making it back to the playoffs and winning round one was very important for me and my team. What has been your favorite memory so far this season? My favorite memory was getting our 6th win to guarantee us a spot in the playoffs. Our goal at the beginning of the summer was to get our team back to the playoffs, and we accomplished our goal.
What schools have you been talking to so far? Currently recruiting has been going pretty slow for me. I have been hearing from recently from Mckendree, Roosevelt University, and UW-Platteville. I have also heard from UNI, Drake, Dartmouth, Upper Iowa, and Gardner Webb. What part of your game do you feel you showed growth in this season? I feel like I have really grown in my ability to read the defense. Last year I was able to read the defense well, but this year I can truly know what is going on. Watching film helps me be able to know the reads I will have to make, and then during the game I just put it all together. Who on Mater Dei is having a breakout season? My tight-end Garrick Winkeler, he has 12 touchdowns 9 receiving and 3 rushing. He is also leading the team in receiving yards with 406, and he is also our middle linebacker. Along with our defensive end Chandler Toennies. He has 62 tackles and 7 sacks.
What is your dream college to play for? I would personally love to play at UNI. After being there this past summer for camp and getting to talk with Coach Reeder I found I really liked it there.
