Tommy Johl how is your offseason going for you so far? It has been good What schools have you been talking to so far? Only a few, Drake, Dayton, and South Dakota What should college coaches know about you? I am a hard worker and competitive. I am also physical and fast off the ball.
How was your junior season? It was good I got injured during the year but didn’t miss much time and was able to come back for the playoffs. What do you like about playing in the trenches? It requires everyone to do their job. If one person messes up we all mess up so it keeps us close and helps build relationships. And you hit every play. How is Prospect looking for the upcoming season? Good. We have been getting after it in the weight room and are looking forward to camp. How was your wrestling season? It was alright, personally I think I did alright because this basically was my first year wrestling 285 and I qualified for sectionals, but team wise we could have been better.
How has wrestling made you a better linemen?
It’s made me a better competitor, it has also improved my body control and movement. It also has cut off a lot of bad weight and helped me gain a bunch of muscle.
Who on Prospect is ready for a breakout season this fall? I don’t know that’s a hard question we have a bunch of studs like, Malachi Tolliver, Grady Catanzano, Michael Matuszak, Griffin Limbers, Noah Easter, Charlie Knee, are going to play big roles.
