Jedidiah Adjayi welcome back, how was your junior season? It was a very humbling season, I played 7 out of 11 games due to a hand injury. Very hard to watch people play the sport I love, but I was able to pull through it and still be a leader for my team. Showing up to every practice and game cheering my guys on and the 7 games I played. I managed to get almost 1k rushing yards.
What schools have you been talking to so far? I’ve received mail from Dayton, North Central, Stout in Wisconsin, and I’ve communicated to a coach from North Dakota University, but nothing has been major or serious. Just getting to know me type of mail or conversation. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? Currently I’m working on getting bigger, and stronger. I’ve jumped from 160 to 175 and I’ve also been enchanting my running back craft with a running back trainer Coach Brown. How does Evergreen Park look for the upcoming season? Looking great we just got a new head coach who knows how to win, and our former head coach is still going to be coaching here. We also have a ton of returning players since we were junior heavy last year and our offensive line should be getting bigger than last year, I have a ton of confidence in us.
Who on Evergreen Park is ready for a breakout season?
I’d say the whole team, but I think it a be a breakout for me because I have yet to play a full season with the major roll. I’ve had since last year but also fellow teammates Deijon Feliciano the who been playing and starting on varsity with me since sophomore year quarterback. Antonio Clay Jones the running back who filled in for me, Aidan Bench our backup quarterback that converting to WR he going to be a major shocker. Eduardo Antunez DE and LT who been playing and starting on varsity with me since sophomore year. Lastly, Gerald O'Hare our center I feel we are the core of the team the leaders and the best players.
Who is the joker on the Evergreen Park team? I’d say it goes to honestly Coach Verde the guy is a great coach, who knows how to push you to the core. Also, he got the funniest jokes and the way he reacts to things that happen at school or practice or on the bus is the funniest you just got to be there to see it.
