Ryan Segebarth how was your junior season? It was fine, I didn’t have many receptions. What was one of your favorite memories last season? Probably winning the quarter-final game to go to the semis. What does football mean to you? Football is the best part of my life, whether it’s in season or off season just going to play catch or run routes with my quarterback. It’s a huge part of my life.
What should college coaches know about you?
I'm pretty athletic for my size, I’m 6’3 and I can dunk a basketball off my vert. My broad jump was the farthest on my team when we tested them, and I ran one of the fastest 40. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? My route running and catching, I need to work on my hands the most What do you like about playing tight end? The diversity of being able to block and catch, I like catching and running the ball but I also like blocking d ends and linebackers. And creating looks for my running backs.
How does Glenbard West look for the upcoming season?
We’re looking pretty good, our running back/receiver has a couple big offers and our defense is mostly returning starters. Even though it’s one of our tougher schedules we should be good
What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season? My main goal is to get my first touchdown, but other goals of mine is to improve my game and become a better leader around the team and be a person to look up to.
