Brayden Garrigan Providence Class of 2022 Athlete 5'9 170
Brayden Garrigan how was your Spring Season? It was awesome to get out there and compete. I didn’t really get a sophomore season because of injuries so it gave me a great opportunity to show what I can do and get some film to put out to colleges. What does football mean to you? Football to me, builds a better character then anything you can do in high school. It teaches how to work with other men and be a leader, but also teaches you the hard way, that if you don’t put in more time then the person next to you, you will get passed up. Also I just love to complete, especially in the best conference in Illinois. What schools have you been talking to so far? St. Norberts is my only offer. I have been talking to Whitewater, University of Chicago, Illinois Wesleyan, Carthage. What should college coaches know about you? My biggest strength is the mental side of the game, my ability to read offenses and defenses. I am a great leader. I live in the weight room, I play way above my size and I am a pure competitor and love to win. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? Ability to recognize a play faster then anyone on the field. Sometimes I know what the offense is doing before they line up. What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season? Personal goals, make first team all area , be all state, lead my team in touchdowns, picks, yards, tackles. But most importantly be twice as good as last year. What does this Providence squad need to do to have a winning season? We need to start out fast and control our tempo on offense, and limit explosive plays on defenses. We have a really tough schedule so we will have to be almost perfect in out execution.
