Grant Dersnah Palatine QB Class Of 2023 6'5 195
Grant Dersnah how is your season going for you so far? It was going really well up until week 4. At the end of the third quarter, I was running and when I got tackled, I broke my leg. What does football mean to you? Football for me is being a part of something. I have bonds with my teammates off the field which only makes it stronger off the field. Playing the sport is fun but there is so much more to the game and that’s what I love about it What do you like about playing QB? I like the responsibility and leadership that comes with playing the position. Being the guy that everyone on the offense and the team looks to for leadership means a lot. What ways are you helping your team now that your injured? A big part of what I’m doing is helping our new quarterback. He has a lot of experience at quarterback just still getting adjusted to the varsity level. Since I’ve been there for 3 years I can help him out with pretty much everything. How good can this Palatine team be in the playoffs? We can be really good. If we keep playing at the level we’re playing with the skill we have, I think we can make a deep run. What do incoming Palatine players for the future need to know about the program? There is a way that our program is and traits that you have when you join and once you pick up on those, things should fall in place.
