Andrew Hoffmann Neuqua Valley DB Class Of 2026 6'0 175

Andrew Hoffmann how has your sophomore season been so far? It has been very exciting playing up with varsity. The team had a rough first 3 games but then we came together especially defensively, and we’ve been on a roll ever since. I have been playing very well with 5 INT so far but overall, it has been an amazing year. What does football mean to you? It’s everything. Ever since I’ve started playing since 8th grade it instantly became my favorite sport. The game is unlike anything else and the relationships with the teammates and coaches is unmatched. What should college coaches know about you? I am very coachable and can adapt to a position switch very quick. I always want to learn more about the game, and I am an unselfish and hard-working player.

What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My athletic ability and being able to read what my opponent is going to do. Also communicating with my teammates on coverages and blitzes. What part of your game do you plan on working on in the offseason? Speed and strength and change of direction. And learning the game more and more. How does it feel to be in the playoffs? It’s amazing we have worked all off-season and all season to guarantee ourselfs the 10th game of the year. We had many doubters but now that we proved who we are it is the best feeling. What do you like playing on defense? Safety and corner. Safety because the freedom to be able to make more tackles but corner because it is one of the most challenging positions guarding a receiver man to man.

What would be your dream school to play for? Any school who gives me the opportunity to play.
