Joe Urso Nazareth Academy OL/DL Class of 2022 6'0 235
Joe Urso how has your season been so far?
It's been different with no preseason, but I'm thankful to be back on the field with my teammates. We're trying to make the most of a shortened season, and even though our first game was cancelled, so far so good.
What does football mean to you?
I've been playing since 2nd grade so I really can't remember a time when I didn't have football in my life. Being on the field and in the weight room with the guys is everything.
What should college coaches know about you?
I'm a hard worker no matter what I do and like being challenged. I play three sports, have high honors in school and love spending time in the weight room.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
Quickness for my size and position. And probably also my football IQ from watching film.
How has wrestling helped you in your football technique?
Well I've only been wrestling for a year but I feel like it's helped me be able to multi-task with my hands more. My balance and staying square has improved too.
