Kal Harris York WR/DB Class of 2022 6'0 180

Kal Harris how was your spring season? It was odd with covid and only having 6 games. But It went well, we ended with a 4-2 record, which was our first winning season since 2011. Personally, I didn’t get as much playing time as I would’ve hoped but I knew it was in the best interest of our team. Overall, I was happy we even got a season and I’m expecting an even better one from us this fall. What does football mean to you? Football is everything to me. I’ve been playing since I was a kid and now it’s a lifestyle. I eat, sleep, and dream football and it’s one of the only things I have a true passion for. It’s been my dream for me ever since I could remember to make it D1, and all the work I put in is driven with that dream. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know, I love playing football and I play it passionately. I put the team first and overall I’m dedicated and committed to the sport. I try to do everything with an intent and I take it extremely serious. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? The strongest trait I bring to the field is definitely my hands and route running. I pride myself on being able to catch any ball that hits my hand and I focus on articulating my routes precisely to break down whoever tries to guard me. What is your favorite route to run? I love to run a post, there’s so many moves to make when branching out and I’m always open for the deep ball at the end.
