Tyler Helbing Waubonsie Valley Class of 2022 WR/ATH 6'2 170
Tyler Helbing how was your 2019 season? My sophomore season was great we went 8-1 as a team and I got the ball in my hands a lot, it was really a year were I improved in almost every part of my game from route running to leading the team. What should college coaches know about you? I’ll do anything I’m asked to do whether it’s go out and make a difference on special teams, throw a block, or catch the ball and I’m a no nonsense kind of guy when things need to be taken seriously I take them seriously in the weight room, a film session, in the classroom and on the field. What does football mean to you? Football has been a part of my life since I was 5 and has always been something I can count on being fun and exciting, it has provided me with experiences and a sense of brotherhood that only football can provide. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? As a receiver I’d say my strongest trait is my ability to catch the ball no matter what. As a leader I am very good at watching film and learning the playbook so I can tell others what needs to be done. What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season? Whenever the next season takes place I’m aiming to be an all conference player at least hopefully scoring a touchdown a game if that’s what the team needs and being able to make big plays for the team. I also want to become a better blocker so that I can not only be a threat in the pass game but a factor in the run game as well.
