Matthew McCarthy how was your 2019 season? It was a very good experience for my first varsity season. I was really happy with how I much I improved as the season went on. What should college coaches know about you? I am hard working on and off the field and in the classroom. I am a leader for my team. I have high standards for myself and my teammates. I am a very coachable player. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I have been working on my strength and agility the most. I have been following a workout routine lifting 5-6 days a week. I do ladders 2-3 times a week and go to the field and work on route running with my teammates on the weekends. What goal do you have for yourself this upcoming season? My goals for the upcoming season are to be a team captain and make all conference/all area teams How does Tinley Park look for the upcoming season? I feel like we are going to be a playoff team this year with a bright future in the following years. I have a lot of teammates that have dedicated themselves to the weight room to be faster and stronger. We have a strong chemistry that was lacking last season.
