Meet Tinley Park Defender Henry Perell Class Of 2025

So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Henry Perell Tinley Park LB/ATH Class Of 2025 5'11 175

Henry Perell how is your summer going so far? Very good... Me and my team are getting work in almost every day and improving every day. I’ve been attending quite a few camps to better myself and my team. How was your sophomore season? Very good. I’ve improved immensely since freshman year. I’ve put on some major size and I’ve become a lot more confident as a football player in terms of understanding the game and reacting to what’s happening around me. What does football mean to you? Football means everything to me. It allows me to be with my brothers and for us all to grow as young men. Football is bigger than just a sport for me. It’s about growing as a man and person and that’s something Coach Vitt has really been preaching to us throughout the offseason and leading into summer.

What should college coaches know about you? I’m a versatile player and am willing to play anywhere on the field as long as it puts my team in a position to succeed. I’m always working to better myself as a player and I value myself as a leader. I’m very coachable. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My instincts and my intelligence are by far my strongest traits. I’m good at watching the play unfold and doing my job to help us be successful. I’m very good at reacting and not assuming how the play will unfold and what will happen which puts me in a great position to succeed. What goals do you have for yourself this season? I want to help improve our team dynamic and our record. We won’t allow what happened last year to happen again. I’d like to make all conference this year.

What game are you most excited this upcoming season? Oak Forest. I’ve been counting down the days to that game since we got our schedule. It’s our last game of the year.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting

But About The Love Of The Game Of IHSA Football

RESPECT THE GAME
