Diego Gutierrez how was your spring season? My spring season was good I took reps on varsity and JV learned a lot of stuff last year on varsity that will help me be more comfortable this year! Looking forward to this year! My stats were: Pass yards 640+, Pass Td 14, Rush Yards 250+, Rush td 6, 1int. What does football mean to you? Football means everything to me I’ve been playing since I was 3 and this beautiful game has done so much for me. I will forever love football it has provided a place were I have happiness and joy. Even though I didn’t have the best day and it’s just amazing to see the doors it’s opened for me and the it will continue to open more doors! What should college coaches know about you? That I am willing to work hard and that I will outwork any player they bring. Also that I am a great leader and I will do anything to lead my team to victory. I will bring energy everyday and pick my teammates up when they are down. I'm willing to work and grind with my team so we can be successful! What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strongest trait on the field is probably my ability to extend the play and make it something, also I am able to pick apart a defense and drive the ball down the field. When you think the play is broken and the pocket collapses I am willing to find a way to make it a positive play! What do you like about playing QB? My favorite part about playing QB is taking leadership and being able to make players around better! The leadership aspect of the game is amazing rallying your team and watching everyone come together as one is the best thing.
