Myles Batesky Libertyville OL/DL Class Of 2026 6'4 220

Myles Batesky how was your freshman season? I was happy with this season personally and from a team-standpoint. I competed at the freshman level where I definitely had a physical edge on most of my opponents. What does football mean to you? Football to me means a lot. This upcoming season I will entering my 5th year of football and In that short time the relationships and friendships I’ve built with coaches and teammates will last a lifetime. On another note football to me is a good example of life. Football will bring you pain, injury, and exhaustion, but you always have the choice to keep going. That’s what I love about the game of football.

What should college coaches know about you? One thing I think college coaches should know about me is that I take football very seriously. I play with a relentless effort on the field, no matter how much time is left, or what the scoreboard says, I can promise any coach I will give them 4 quarters of relentless effort each and every game. What do you like about playing in the trenches? In my opinion, the game is won in the trenches. I love the mentality of being one of the big men up front. Every play you put your hand in the dirt, and once that ball is snapped you are attacking the man across from you with everything you got one play at a time. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I’ve been mainly working on my strength and explosiveness in the weight room, on the field. I’ve been working on expanding my repertoire as an offensive lineman, working on my pass sets and run blocking skills as a tackle and as an interior offensive lineman.

How was your basketball season? We did fine, had around twenty wins, ended on a loss in our end of season tournament. On a personal note I was one of our leading scorers and rebounders this season. So, all around a good season.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting
