Jack Crudele how is your season going for you so far?
My junior season with Huntley football is going very well right now were 5-1 right now in the FVC conference and I feel like I’m starting to accelerate my learning at the offensive line position and am having success on Friday nights. We just got off a great team win against the defending state champions Cary-Grove with the defense coming through HUGE! I’m very excited to continue this season with my teammates!
How does it feel to be on top of the Fox Valley conference?
In my eyes I’m just wanting to have success with the next opponent on the schedule. Of course, it’s awesome to be on top but I’m more focused on being with my guys and to keep growing as a player and man through high school football
How is the excitement in the locker room?
Unmatched energy out of our locker room this year. We are all excited about our accomplishments so far and the energy and environment shows it. There’s nothing like it really and it’s something to really enjoy!
What does football mean to you?
Football is so much more than just people hitting each other and drawing arrows and formations in the locker room. It goes against human nature and what’s easy. It teaches valuable life lessons about standing up to the moment and to keep an ambitious attitude even after having success. Football now to me is about shaping my attitude for after I finish off my football career and how I’ll tackle situations in life as a man later on.
Alright let's get down to the serious question... Who is the biggest eater on the Huntley offensive line? Offensive line isn’t one man it is a unit. So all of us . we all have our own areas of issue and success but when stuff gets done it’s because we moved as one. The Huntley offensive line EATS. All of us do!!!
