By: Peter "Coach Big Pete" Leinweber

So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for lllinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Tristan Villarreal how was your 2019 season? It was eventful to say the least. We started the season down to our 3rd string QB and had multiple injuries as a team. However, we fought hard every single game and I couldn’t of been prouder of how we dealt with the adversity we faced. It was a great learning experience, and I’m excited for the future. What does football mean to you? Football means a lot to me, it’s an opportunity for me to showcase my talents and hard work, and also be able to bond with teammates and coaches in the process. What should college coaches know about you? I have always had a passion to play sports. As a 3-sport athlete, I love competing and setting goals for myself every year. I would want colleges to know that I am a very coachable player, and I’m versatile enough to play multiple positions What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I feel that my biggest strength is my elusiveness, versatility, and my IQ of the game. I also have very good hands for a RB. I’m not afraid of contact and I can find open holes quickly What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I’ve mainly been focusing on gaining weight but also increasing my strength, speed, and vertical
