Weston Waughop Downers Grove North Athlete Class Of 2025 6'0 175
Weston Waughop how was your season?
This season went great. I played majority on the sophomore team, where we went 7-2. I was brought up to varsity after week 6. I didn't play much, but I got the feeling for things at the varsity level.
What should college coaches know about you?
I'm 6' 175 pounds. I play linebacker on defense and I'm h-back on offense. I also long snap. I'm a good student in school. And I like to work hard.
What does football mean to you?
Football means a lot to me. I've been playing since kindergarten.
What was one of your favorite memories this season?
The crosstown rivalry game against Downers South.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I play a little on the passive side and wait for the play to develop. Playing like this has its good sides and it's bad sides. Sometimes I think it's just better to be more aggressive and just play football.
What goals do you have for yourself next season?
Too ball out. And have some college interest
What game are you most excited for next season and why? I don't know our schedule for next year, but im probably most excited for our game against LT. Every year it's a great game.
