So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Karter Krutsinger Bishop McNamara Class Of 2026 6'2 160

Karter Krutsinger how is your season going for you so far? It’s a little tough considering I broke my collarbone week 1 of my JV season. I got to play two varsity football games with limited snaps on both sides of the ball before this incident happened. Although my collarbone is broken, I’m still there every day pushing my teammates because there is no I in team, and they make me look good, especially those big guys up front. What does football mean to you? A group of brothers working towards one goal which is winning while having fun. That’s why I love the sport so much. It creates a brotherhood for me and my teammates. I love the environment that football brings on Friday nights. It’s been my dream to play high-school football my entire life and it’s finally here. To walk out with my brothers every day out to the field is the greatest feeling in the world. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strongest trait is not talent in any way shape or form. It is having leadership on the field. Keeping my guys in line and staying calm under pressure is what I’m good at. What do you like about playing QB? I love the fact that I’m in control of the game. I love the leadership role that it plays on a team.

What should college coaches know about you? They should know my 4 f’s faith, family, friends' football. Faith because I’m a strong believer in God and I think if you build a relationship with him that’s truly the only thing that matters in life, and it brings you all around happiness. The next one is family which doesn’t only include my mom, dad, and three siblings, it also includes all my coaches and teammates. The next one is friends and football, and I could never choose one over the other they both just mean so much to me and my life growing up and football came with friends and friends came with football. One last thing is I want everyone to know in the country is that I will do whatever it takes to win have fun and try my hardest to compete with anyone. I also need to shout out my teammates not any particular ones just the whole team in general. If you have never heard of bishop McNamara football, you're missing out because we’re back in business. The future is bright.
