Khalil Nichols how was your offseason? My offseason was great. I got better physically, mentally, and especially athletically. I just feel like a better person in general. What does football mean to you? Football is a lifestyle. Football taught me things that is now engraved in me. It helps me be more grateful, thoughtful, and plenty of character traits that make me who I am. It also brought a lot of memories that I will never forget. What excites you the most about this upcoming season? Me just being able to play varsity football excites me the most. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know that I am a dependable playmaker. A coach should depend on me to make plays when I am on the field. Also want coaches to know that I am a person that loves the process. Other than Friday Night Light games, I love being able to get better. What do you see in this Fenwick squad for Saturday? I expect this Fenwick squad to be at their best for this Saturday game. They are a very disciplined team that capitalize off of their opponents' mistakes. This will be a good game! What goals do you have for yourself this season? I don’t really have a lot of individual goals but this season I want prove that I can be a big-time playmaker on the defensive side of the ball. My biggest goal is to make the playoffs and to bring the energy back to the community.
