Charlie Mullen how was your first game back? We’ve been preparing for this game for a long time and I think we did a pretty solid job. On offense we were able to establish our run, and we passed the ball well. We also got the chance to move people around and get a lot of guys some time on the field. Defensively we all did our jobs, and we were able to shut their offense down. What does football mean to you? I just started football in high school so this would be my second year, but I know that football is different from all the other sports I’ve played. We all have a job to do, and each persons job is important to the play. It really brings the team together. I like that aspect of the game a lot. Football has also been a big part of my family. My dad played football in college and now my brother is playing, so I’ve been around football since I was little. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the field? I think my versatility is my strongest trait. I have enough size to be on the line, but I can also go on pass routes or pass coverages. Whatever the team needs me to do, I’ll try my best to help. What should college coaches know about you? I always want to help out my team. I’m open to trying any position. I’m a hard worker and I won’t give up. What is the best advice you got from brother about football? It’s not really advice that he’s given me but more of an example that hard work will always pay off in the end.
