By: Peter "Coach Big Pete" Leinweber

So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for lllinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Frank Bartell how does it feel to be back out on the field? It feels great. I wanted to play the full season but I am just happy that we are even playing at all. When I get out on the field a whole new perspective pops up. Football is my life and I am just really excited to finish out the season. What does football mean to you? Football means everything to me. Football helps me get through school by getting good grades to stay on the team, it also helps me socialize with my friends. Football also helps me become a better man because of our coaches. They do their very best to make us great young men, and this season has proved that football means the world to me. Also when I step on the field I feel different, I feel like no one can stop me and I will always do good if I’m out on the field. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know I am a hard worker and I will never give up. I will motivate the team as much as I can and if I see a player looking down or if they have their head down after a bad play, I’m going to pick them up, tell them to snap out of it, and I will make them way better, I hate to see my teammates fail, so I try and do my very best to make the team and myself better in every aspect. What do you see in this Glenbrook North squad for the upcoming game? I see that they are playing for everything right now because of a recent death that occurred within the program. But I also think no one can stop us. Our Maine South football team is very good in my opinion and we are this good because of our great coaches. Also our whole team has so many weapons that no one can stop. When I get out on the field I hope to have a great game and I know I will have a great game because my motivation is through the roof. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strongest trait is never giving up. Whenever there is something wrong I will always step up my game to make things better. I will pick up my teammates in every way and I will make sure that our team still succeeds when we fail. When I do something wrong on the field, I will make my next play 10x better. I am 100% sure of it too, there has never been a time where that statement has been false.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of IHSA Football

RESPECT THE GAME
