Deep Dish Football Coach Big Pete's IHSA Playoff 2023 GOTWS Quarterfinals Preview & Matchups

This playoff season is flying by fast and furious, and we have less than 3 weeks left. We got some big-time matchups in the Quarterfinals. East St. Louis takes on undefeated Kankakee at Kankakee and what could be a historic game. Batavia travels up north to take on a Hononegah team that almost mirrors the Bulldogs. Camp Point Central gets a big-time matchup against a surging Althoff Catholic. Carmel welcomes an old foe in Nazareth to continue their storybook journey for a title. We have only on game on Friday with Cinderella story Sandwich taking on a surprising Wheaton Academy. Montini faces new foe in small school powerhouse Princeton who is looking hungry for a title and ready to give a small school reality check to the Broncos. Morgan Park the lone CPS team travels to Wheaton taking on powerhouse in St. Francis and Alessio's hot hand. Quincy wants to show Chicagoland why they shouldn't overlook Central Illinois by pulling the major upset over Mount Carmel.
