Jack Cook Naperville Central QB Class Of 2024 6'1 185
Jack Cook how has your offseason been so far? Off-season has been very good. I have gained a lot of weight since November. From being 147 to now 180. I have hit the 1000-pound club for my school and my 40 time has improved dramatically. Besides myself I have been spending a lot of time with my team in the early morning and on the field for our 7v7 team. How was your junior season? Before the season started, I transferred from Venice, Florida which we were state champions and a top 35 team in the nation. I did not start my junior year at Naperville Central, but it was a building block for this upcoming season. I learned a lot from last year and have gained a lot of chemistry with the team. What does football mean to you? Football is one of the most important things in my life. It is hard work and dedication but is a team sport. Football does not only make me a better athlete but also makes me a better teammate, leader, and person overall.
What should college coaches know about you?
College coaches should know that I am extremely competitive on and off the field. I will find a solution to any problem and this comes from working hard and dedication. Not only I will make myself a better athlete and person I will also make the people around me a better athlete and person.
What do you like about playing QB?
The best thing about being the quaterback is the Leadership and expectations that come with it. The quaterback is the captain and leader of the team and I love making big time decisions. The more pressure that is on me the better I perform.
What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season?
I always set myself to high standards. I will lead my team to a state championship title and will be one of the best Quaterback’s in Illinois. I will also have multiple division 1 offers by the end of senior year.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? Leadership is for sure my strongest trait. Like I said before I make myself but also the people around me better. I hold every single one of my teammates to high standards and they all know that I expect them most from them.
