So here are my Top 10 Under The Radar Recruits for the Class of 2022 in Illinois. I consider these recruits under looked and somewhat under valued by college scouts and college coaches. Really like the reads and closing speed of Satterwhite. Great job at hip tracing against receivers. Never afraid to take the fight to the WR. Adapted well this spring season and still has room for growth.
Not your typical sized QB but don't let his size fool you. This kid plays lights out and can make plays off of his feet. Great patience of letting the play develop and making the pass. Top 10 QB in Illinois that deserves more looks and can make any big time throw.
Great extension and first pivot step as an OL. Not to mention his 6'9 frame will impress OL College Coaches and scouts. Still very raw with his leverage but I have no doubt that will improve this summer. Could be a top OL recruit in the Midwest by the end of this summer.
Yes he has offers but this kid deserves more respect then he is getting. McCoy could become huge national recruit by when the summer ends. Love his tenacity and on the field IQ, and sniffs out the play. High character kid that would make a perfect role model for a college program.
Kid has one of the best two step bursts in the state of Illinois for the Class of 2022. OL have a tough time keeping up with him after that ball is snapped. His improved handwork this summer could make him a top state recruit. Again another multi-sport high school athlete.
Talk about a gap stuffer and gets to the QB in easy fashion. Stays in his gap assignment and makes that fight towards the ball. Underrated first step burst against OL. Love his center-low gravity when he gets off that snap.
Providence transfer will be a huge playmaker for the Crusader football team this fall. For some reason people are still sleeping on this kid. One of the Top 5 RBs in the state of Illinois and also a multi-purpose back. Do not miss out on this talented player from the Class of 2022.
Stop if you heard this before.... Multi-faceted QB that can play offense and defense on any college team.. Hansen to me is that recruit, who ever gets him is getting one of Illinois best kept secrets. His freakish speed and ability to make a play is what sets him apart.
OL/DL/TE the kid can do it all and even more. Great tenacity and athleticism for a recruit who has the frame to back it up. Love the fact that he was used a little more on the OL this spring. Could be Top 25 recruit in the state of Illinois by the end of the year.
Do not sleep on this defensive playmaker. Has great footwork and ability to trace the WR is really something special. No doubt this kid is Top 5 DB recruit in the state of Illinois. Graded out in the top 10 percentile for all Illinois recruits for Class of 2022. Will be huge in this Summer Camp season.
HONORABLE MENTION:
Passed for 18 touchdowns this spring and made himself one of the Top 10 QBs in Illinois for the Class of 2022. His playmaking ability is off the charts.
Massive frame against OL that puts a end to could-be big run plays. Really didn't have enough time to show his work this Spring but will produce this fall.
I love football players that wrestle and what more can be said about Hunter. Stitely is a pure athletic pass rusher that can get to the QB. Love the fact that he will do anything to get to the ball carrier.
