We had statements made in the second round of the IHSA Playoffs. Quincy gets huge win with long travel to Wheaton North and sending statement in 7A. Lincoln Way West along with Downers Grove get the big wins. Hononegah gets shutout win against Willowbrook and riding high in 7A. Edwardsville gets the big time win over Glenbard West proving more about these tigers and sending a warning shot across the Chicagoland area. Morgan Park gets big statement win over a tough Sycamore squad. Morris keeps up with their dreams and defeats a challenging SHG team. Glenwood goes up north to get the big win against a surging Richards team. Chicago Hope academy proves the better team against tough Aurora Christian team. Lena-Winslow, Byron, Rochester, Loyola, East St. Louis, Barrington, Camp Point Central, Seneca keep winning. Sandwich keeps their magical season alive with a blowout win over Dyett.
