Nuri Banks how was your 2019 season? My 2019 season rough it taught me that I can get through anything and that I’m resilient. We had an orange and blue scrimmage I was coming off, and a great summer camp I ended up with a grade 3 ankle sprain. It set me back a couple games but I came back and helped my team the best way I could and me individually coming back hungrier than ever and our team is gonna bounce back stronger. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches are getting someone who is going to compete no matter who’s in front of me, a hard worker on and off the field and a team guy who’s willing to do anything for the team What do you like about playing in the trenches? I enjoy the fact that you can dominate the man in front of you constantly play after play with no whistles. I just love the physicality What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I feel like my strongest trait on the field would be my instincts and just being in the right spots on the field How does OPRF look for the upcoming season? We have a strong group of upperclassman in our seniors and our junior class is just as strong we as a team have they ability to play with the best in Illinois and I believe that we have a chance at a state run if everything works out and we mesh well as a unit.
