Mayes Doggan how was your 2019 season?
It was great! We had our ups and downs as a team, but I feel like I consistently performed well in all 11 games. I also feel like I proved to many people that I can play at the next level but I still have a lot to prove in my senior season.
What does football mean to you?
Everything!! I couldn’t picture my life without football. It’s taught me so many lessons to just give up. Football has also shaped me to be the person I am today.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
I have been working on being more patient on the line in man coverage. Having good eyes in coverage and staying over top on the receiver.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the field? I can quickly adjust, I am very physical and I am a playmaker. What should college coaches know about you? I am a player that will just continue to get better. I spend lot’s of time studying film. I am coach able player but I can also be looked at as another coach on the field.
