Joe Suchorabski Lockport Linebacker Class of 2021 5'11 210

Joe Suchorabski how was your 2019 season? We had a great season. This was our first year with our new head coach George Czart and he made a huge impact on our team. Two years ago we didn’t win a game and last year we went 4-5. Coach Czart really brought us together as a team and showed us what it was like to get the winning feeling back. I felt like I really understood what was going on out there and everything was clicking on defense. What schools have you talked to so far? Wagner college recently just gave me an offer as well as Saint Ambrose. I’ve also been talking to coaches at upper Iowa, UIndy, Indiana Wesleyan, and Valparaiso. What should college coaches know about you? I think college coaches should know that I’m a very determined player and I will try to outwork anyone that I am competing with. I am very competitive and I hate to lose. I also think they should know that I take criticism very well and that I like to hear what I’m doing wrong so that I can make myself better. I will always give 110 percent for anything they ask me to do, on or off the field. They should know I take a lot of pride in my work and how people see me and that I always give the full amount of effort at any task I complete. What do you like about playing linebacker? The thing I like about playing linebacker the most is that I love to be in on every play. I like to be the one that’s doing the hitting. I also like to be the leader on the defense because I feel like when the defense is doing good that means I am doing my job on the field. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I think my strongest trait on the field is my mental toughness. I don’t let the other team or a bad play get into my head and cause me to start messing up. I also think my mental toughness wears off on my teammates as well because if they see that nothing is bothering me then they shouldn’t be bothered either.
