Michael Houltram how was your 2019 season? My 2019 season was overall a memorable one for many reasons. I played my first varsity game against our rival school and I was playing through a shoulder injury that surfaced during our summer camp. I kept up with a therapy routine, and tried to manage the pain as best as possible to continue playing to the best of my ability for the remainder of our season. There were many ups and downs, but I think it gave me the experience necessary to be even more a threat to opposing offenses. I’m very excited to play an injury free season in spring, and can’t wait to compete. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I’d consider my hustle and high motor my strongest trait. I don’t ever want to be standing still, I always want to be reading a play, filling a gap, or any other assigned task on a given play. What should college coaches know about you?
I think college coaches should know that I don’t have any official offers, and that I’m willing to talk as much as possible to determine the best fit for me moving forward What do you like about playing on the defensive line? I love that I’m guaranteed to hit someone, whether that’s tackles or running backs, and how important fundamentals are to overcoming a variety of offensive line formations. Games are won and lost on the line, in my opinion What goal do you have for yourself this upcoming season? I want to either score or cause a defensive touchdown. I love seeing my defense eat
