JT Frieders how was your junior season?
My junior season was great we accomplished our team goal of making the playoffs for the first time in 6 years, and for me I kicked very well only missing one extra point and making a 40-yard field goal.
What does football mean to you?
Football means everything to me, my grandpa taught me at a very young age everything I know about the game today. I remember when I was super little kicking field goals through mini plastic uprights in my backyard. My mom taught me that you can never dream to big and ever since she has told me that I have always had a dream to play college football.
What should college coaches know about you?
College coaches should know that I am a very reliable kicker that can deliver under pressure. I like to have the ball on my foot in big situations and that I can kick the ball from anywhere on the field.
What do you like about kicking?
What I like about kicking is how you can contribute to the team the way that others cannot.
What is your longest kick?
My longest kick in game is 40 yards and in practice 55 yards.
What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season?
My goal is to put more points on the board for the team. Take on a leadership role within the team and become a mentor for the younger kickers in our program. Select a college that I can contribute in a positive manner to their program while growing and furthering my own personal kicking career.
