Aaron Johnson Fenwick OL Class of 2023 6'3 255
Aaron Johnson how was your junior season? It was fantastic, I definitely grew a lot as a player and as a person. Winning state was our goal from the start, and we accomplished it which is all you can ask for but the lessons I learned, and the bonds I made I wouldn’t trade for anything. What should college coaches know about you? I think college coaches should know that I respond to adversity well. I’ve been told by my peers they see me as a leader especially now that I’m a rising senior but over my years of playing. I’ve overcame many challenges and setbacks but have always given it my all to get over those. What schools have reached out to you so far? I have spoken to many schools that come in to visit our workouts and such but outside of that, Iowa State has been reaching out mostly. What should college coaches know about you? I think college coaches should know that I respond to adversity well. I’ve been told by my peers they see me as a leader especially now that I’m a rising senior but over my years of playing I’ve overcame many challenges, and setbacks but have always given it my all to get over those. What do you like about playing in the trenches? I love to be mean on the field and getting to bring it to someone every play for a whole game is my favorite part about football. I love to make my teammates look good too, whether that means opening a hole or protecting my QB I can do it all. You don’t get that at any other position. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I feel as my strongest trait on the field is definitely my strength. My strength is what sets me apart from others and it shows in the run game especially.
