Jordan Young-White LB East Aurora Class of 2021 6'1 220
Jordan Young-White how was your 2019 season?
It was a great learning experience for my first year on varsity. Although our season didn't go as expected with us ending 4-5, I feel like we were a very talented team and I learned a lot from the coaching staff as well as my teammates.
What should college coaches know about you?
College coaches should know that I'm very coach able and i'm always open to learning new things. I can constructive criticism really well and I have a really great work ethic. I'm always trying to get into a gym to workout and work on my craft. They should know that I take pride in being a student-athlete.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I feel that my strongest trait on the field is that I can hit! A coach can also count on me to do my job play after play.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I've been mainly focusing on my speed and agility, I think I can improve on that a little so i've really made it a priority of mine this offseason. I've also still been hitting the weights and conditioning as well. What are your feelings about IHSA Spring Football? I feel that if there is a way for us to safely play this fall I would love to start the season! But if not then I think us as football players should take this time to improve on what we need to work on. Whether that's getting bigger, faster, or stronger and just being prepared for when the season starts.
