Kharthyl Phillips how has your first weeks been back on the field?
My first week back on the field was a pretty good feeling even though we lost. I was happy to be playing a football game and I got an opportunity to play football for my final high school season.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
The main part that I have spent the most time through the off season focusing on my footwork and catching and being able to scan the football field with my eyes.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
My strongest trait is defiantly my ability to catch no matter if it's on offense or defense.
What should college coaches know about you?
The one thing that college coaches should know about me is that even if I do proceed to fail, I will always strive to perfect it and I will try my hardest to be a role model
What game excites you the most in this upcoming season besides the upcoming game?
The most exciting game I'm ready for is the one where we go against Danville, because we get to prove to people that we are not the same team that we were a couple of years ago.
What goals do you have for yourself this season?
My goal is to rise up to be a leader to my team and show the young freshmen what it would be like playing for Champaign Central.
