Kevin Hippner Lockport Defensive End Class Of 2025 6'5 181

Kevin Hippner how was your season? Overall, I had a strong season. My team had some ups and downs, but we ended off 6-3. I missed the 2nd game against Metea Valley due to Covid-19. I made important plays in every single game which definitely had an impact on our season. I practiced with varsity as a sophomore, which definitely helped me get faster, stronger, and smarter. All the practice played off as I played in the varsity playoff match against Glenbard West. Now that the season is over, I am preparing for next year as a junior. What does football mean to you? Football is my life. You can learn a lot of life lessons from it. I started football on the homer stallions in 3rd grade. My coaches definitely instilled the fundamentals of the game to me at a young age, which greatly contributes to who I am today. Being part of a team like the one I have is amazing, we are like a family. What do you like about playing in the trenches? That’s my favorite part, being face to face on the line. I love being in the front row seat to all the action. It really shows how much of a contact sport football is. It also requires full mental attention as well. What should college coaches know about you? I am a well rounded coachable athlete. At 15, I’m 6,5 185 pounds working on weight gain and increasing muscle mass every day. I am a hardworking player on and off the field with a current GPA of 3.86 What part of your game do you plan on working on in the offseason? During this off season I want to work on my pass rush. I am tall and feel I am good at reading quarterbacks and reading the plays. I will also be weight training and working on gaining weight for varsity next year.

What goals do you have for yourself next season? One of my goals for next season is to ensure my starting spot. Another goal is to continue working on my stats.
