Brandon Courts Homewood Flossmoor OL Class Of 2025 6'3 239

Brandon Courts how was your sophomore season? My Sophomore Season was generally alright but could’ve been way better. During the season I was battling with sickness and so I was underweight for your traditional left tackle position. I still made great plays during games and thankful to be around good teammates. What does football mean to you? Football and Basketball have always been getaways from my normal life. Football is a passion and a sport that I love to play. Football is one of the reasons I am the man that I am today. I didn’t always grow up playing football as a started playing when I was a freshman just last year, but it has already taught me life lessons that I will never forget. What should college coaches know about you? When you get me, you get a determined man. When you get me, you get a determined man. I will always seek to the get the job done and I will do everything in my will power to make it happen. You get a great teammate who shows great discipline and leadership. You also get a guy who is willing to be coached and will improve immediately. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? Earlier I stated that I was undersized at the left tackle position. So, a big thing for me in this offseason was simply getting stronger. It helps that I get to work out with one of the best strength coaches in the country Adam Vogel. He came over from another Illinois High school and has been a huge help to us athletes. What do you like about playing on the line? It’s really fun when you’re pushing someone against their own will. It gives me that feeling of Adrenaline when I’m in the act of pancaking a guy across from me. It makes you a better man when you play on the line. You have to trust that the big guy next to you will make the right block or the right pull and I enjoy that.

What game are you most excited about for this upcoming season? Oh, this is an easy one. The anticipated rivalry game 2 weeks after Homecoming, Lincoln Way East. Everyone on our team marks this day in our calendar as, "The Game". I’m also looking forward to our non-conference games because those are always fun ones to play against.
