Robby Purchase how was your 2019 season?
Very good experience for my first year. I learned a lot from the older guys and my coaches. We did come up a little short but very happy how we played as a team.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
I have been working on my strength and speed, starting as a sophomore on varsity I learned how much stronger and faster I need to be to excel more in the future.
What should college coaches know about you?
My work ethic is like no other. I’m the type of person to work on something continuously until I get it right. Every single day I will try to better myself on and off the field.
What do you like about playing linebacker?
The physicality. At Joliet Catholic you have to be physical to play linebacker. Ever since I was a little kid I loved hitting and it carried on into high school. To me, there is nothing better than lighting a running back up in the hole.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
My strongest trait is having a good idea of what the offense will run. Throughout the season I will watch some film on hudl of our next opponents and take notes to know where I’m suppose to be at and some tendencies the offense will do. As I watch film I put myself in there so I can perfect it in a game.
