Vito Accettura how was your 2019 season?
Personally, I feel like I had a good season, However as a team, we could have done a lot better. Injuries got got the best of us last year.
What does football mean to you?
Football means an awful lot to me. It taught me how to work as a team and how to stay committed to something for a long period of time. It also helped a lot with my work ethic
What do you like about playing in the trenches?
Being able to push and bully people around, there’s no better feeling than knocking a linemen on his ass while making your way to the quarter back
How does Vernon Hills look for 2020?
EXTREMELY scary. We have some major weapons on both sides of the ball, plus a ton of returning starters from the 2019 season.
Who is one player on Vernon Hills that is ready for a breakout season?
My brother Max Accettura. He’s a sophomore weighing in at 255 with a height of 6’0. He’s gonna be huge for a defensive line
