Joey Gaskill Elk Grove ATH Class of 2021
Joey Gaskill how was your 2019 season?
Started off great. I was playing well but it unfortunately ended early due to an injury. I am currently fully recovered and looking forward to picking up right where I left off.
How does Elk Grove look for 2020?
Based on the guys coming back, I feel we will have a strong team for the 2020 season. All of us have been working hard and have shown much improvement since last year. I have complete confidence in my team that we will win more games this season.
What does being a three sport athlete mean to you?
I’ve played three sports all my life so being able to go to a different sport each season gives me the ability work on different things, which I feel makes me a better athlete overall.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the field?
Performing under pressure and in big situations.
Who on Elk Grove is ready for a breakout season in 2020?
Me, of course. I wasn’t able to do what I wanted to last year but I’m looking to make a huge comeback this season. Obviously, We have our RB Ian Ridge who will have a better year than last year and one of our LBs Josh Bilodeau who should perform well for us on the field.
